Community Guidelines
SoundStage Community Guidelines.
Version: 1.0 Effective Date: September 16, 2026
Purpose
SoundStage is a music-first discovery platform. These Community Guidelines explain the standards that apply to everyone who uses SoundStage, including Fans and Artists.
SoundStage is for adults age 18 and older. People under 18 may not create or use a SoundStage account.
Be Respectful
Do not use SoundStage to harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, stalk, shame, or repeatedly target another person. Disagreement and criticism are allowed, but abusive conduct is not.
Do not attack or degrade people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or similar protected status.
No Threats or Violence
Do not post, send, encourage, or celebrate credible threats of violence or instructions intended to facilitate violent wrongdoing. Content involving immediate danger may be escalated to appropriate authorities where permitted or required by law.
Sexual and Exploitative Content
Do not post or send sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, sexual coercion, trafficking-related content, or content involving minors in a sexual context.
Because SoundStage is an 18+ platform, reports suggesting that a user may be under 18 may be reviewed as age-eligibility or child-safety matters.
Illegal Activity
Do not use SoundStage to organize, promote, facilitate, or solicit illegal activity.
Spam, Scams, and Fraud
Do not use fake engagement, repetitive unsolicited messages, misleading offers, phishing, impersonation, fraudulent payment requests, or other deceptive practices.
Impersonation and Artist Misrepresentation
Do not impersonate another person, Artist, business, label, or organization.
Artist verification is intended to confirm that an applicant is authorized to represent the Artist profile being claimed. Verification does not mean that SoundStage endorses an Artist, guarantees identity beyond the verification process, or guarantees the accuracy of every claim made by an Artist.
Music and Copyright
Only upload content you have the right to use.
SoundStage does not provide a licensed music library and does not grant you rights to music, video, artwork, trademarks, names, likenesses, or other material used in your content.
A normal content report is not a substitute for a formal copyright notice. Copyright complaints should use the Report Copyright Infringement process or be sent to [email protected].
Comments, Recommendations, and Engagement
Do not use comments, follows, Likes, Recommendations, messaging, or other platform features to harass people, manipulate discovery systems, coordinate artificial engagement, or mislead users.
A Recommendation is a distinct SoundStage action and should reflect a genuine recommendation. Do not buy, sell, automate, or exchange Recommendations or other engagement in ways that manipulate SoundStage.
Messaging
Do not send unwanted, abusive, threatening, exploitative, fraudulent, or spam messages.
Users may control who can send Message Requests. Blocking may prevent new messages and other interactions between the accounts.
Privacy
Do not post another person's sensitive personal information without permission. This includes private contact information, home addresses, financial information, authentication information, or other information that could create a meaningful safety or privacy risk.
Reporting and Blocking
You may report content, profiles, comments, or messages that you believe violate SoundStage rules. You may also block accounts.
Reports should be made in good faith. Knowingly false, retaliatory, or abusive reporting may itself violate these Guidelines.
Enforcement
SoundStage may review reported activity and may take actions that include warning a user, limiting features, removing or restricting content, suspending publishing, suspending verification, temporarily suspending an account, or terminating an account.
The action taken depends on the nature, severity, frequency, and context of the conduct, as well as applicable law and safety considerations.
SoundStage may preserve information when reasonably necessary for safety, security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or the handling of disputes and reports.
