Terms of Service

SoundStage Terms of Service.

Version: 1.0 Effective Date: September 16, 2026

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SoundStage, a service operated by SoundStage, LLC. By creating an account, accessing SoundStage, or using SoundStage features, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them.

If you do not agree, do not use SoundStage.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a SoundStage account.

By using SoundStage, you represent that you are at least 18 and legally able to agree to these Terms.

Accounts

SoundStage supports Fan and Artist account types.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity performed through your account, except to the extent caused by SoundStage or otherwise provided by law.

You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate another person, Artist, company, label, or organization.

Fan Accounts

Fans may use approved SoundStage features to discover Artists, follow accounts, Like, Recommend, comment, share, message, build a lineup, and participate in discovery-related features.

Fan accounts cannot publish public posts.

Artist Accounts and Verification

Artists may create an Artist account and prepare drafts, but public publishing requires successful Artist Verification.

Verification confirms only that SoundStage approved the Artist claim based on the evidence available at the time. Verification is not an endorsement, a guarantee of identity beyond the review performed, or a guarantee that the Artist owns every right associated with uploaded content.

Artist Content

Artists retain ownership of the content they create and upload, subject to rights owned by others.

You grant SoundStage a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, display, perform, distribute, and make technical copies of content you submit as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote, and provide SoundStage features. This license ends when the content is deleted from SoundStage, except for reasonable backup, legal, security, enforcement, or archival retention and content that others have lawfully shared or incorporated into platform records where deletion is not technically or legally required.

You represent that you have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents needed for the content you upload and for SoundStage to use it as described in these Terms.

Finished-Content Model

SoundStage does not provide a licensed music library and does not grant music rights to uploaders.

Artist posts must be finished content with any audio already incorporated by the uploader. You are responsible for all music, recording, composition, video, artwork, name, likeness, trademark, and other rights associated with your post.

Post Length

Public Artist video posts are limited to 30 seconds unless SoundStage changes the product limit and provides updated product terms or notices.

WebLinks

SoundStage may allow Artists or posts to include WebLinks to third-party destinations. SoundStage does not control those sites or services and is not responsible for their availability, content, transactions, or privacy practices.

Likes, Recommendations, and Discovery Features

A Like and a Recommendation are separate SoundStage actions.

SoundStage may use Likes, Recommendations, follows, watch activity, profile visits, and other platform activity to operate discovery, ranking, badges, streaks, or Discovery Score features.

Do not buy, sell, automate, exchange, or manipulate engagement in ways intended to distort SoundStage discovery or reputation systems.

SoundStage may change formulas, eligibility rules, labels, ranks, badges, or discovery systems as the service evolves.

Messaging and User Interactions

You are responsible for your interactions with other users. You must comply with the Messaging and Safety Rules and Community Guidelines.

Blocking, reporting, and messaging preferences are safety tools and may limit interactions between accounts.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:
